Pizzeria La Fenice is a family oasis, full of passion and positive energy, where from the very first step you can feel that everything is done with heart. At the entrance, we are greeted by a young, smiling Italian woman - warm, energetic and full of life. She immediately introduces a friendly atmosphere that makes you feel like you are with friends, not in a random place. And by the oven stands her partner - a true pizza master. I do not use this word exaggeratedly. After driving 600 kilometers through southern Italy, it was only here, in this inconspicuous place, that I found pizza perfected in every detail. The dough is incredibly thin, but elastic and crispy at the same time, and each ingredient - fresh, carefully selected and full of flavor. We tried two different pizzas - each of them was unique, unrepeatable, and served on a plate so large that the pizza spilled out of it anyway. And all this for less than 10 euros! This is not a classic restaurant – you won't order a glass of wine here, but you can have a cold beer. And honestly? Even if you had to eat this pizza on the curb, it wouldn't matter. The flavors served at La Fenice are so unique that the only thing you focus on is pure culinary delight. The menu also includes local appetizers – we tried the polenta and we were not disappointed either. This is another positive surprise. We thank the hosts from the bottom of our hearts – you made a huge impression on us! Appena arrivati, ci accoglie una giovane donna sorridente, piena di vita, che ci fa sentire subito a casa. La sua gentilezza è genuina e coinvolgente. Dietro al forno c'è il suo compagno – un vero maestro della pizza. Non esagero: dopo aver percorso 600 km nel sud Italia, è qui che ho finalmente trovato una pizza curata in ogni minimo dettaglio. L'impasto è sottilissimo, croccante ma leggero, e fire ingredient è scelto con attenzione, fresco e delizioso. Abbiamo assaggiato due pizze diverse, ed entrambe erano straordinarie, ognuna con una propria personalità. Le pizze sono servite su piatti grandi, ma talmente abbondanti da uscire dai bordi! I prezzi sono davvero onesti: meno di 10 euro per un capolavoro. Non è un ristorante tradizionale – non troverete vino, ma c'è birra fredda. E sinceramente? Mangerei questa pizza anche seduto sul marciapiede, tanto è buona. Nel menu ci sono anche specialità locali: noi abbiamo provato la polenta, che ci ha piacevolmente sorpreso. Grazie di cuore ai proprietari per la passione e l'ospitalità. Torneremo sicuramente.

Passing through Modugno... we were looking for a small restaurant for a pizza that met our usual criteria, and here it all came together... 1st point: wood-fired pizzas 2nd point: the service 3rd point: the food Pleasantly surprised by this young and dynamic team, the kind we'd like to see more of. Thank you for the time spent in your little restaurant... the smiles and the sense of hospitality made all the difference. The prices were more than reasonable. Congratulations!
